PromoSuite Gets a Little More Technical
Peter Elia Promoted to Director of Technology
Matt Jacobson Promoted to Product Development Manager
PromoSuite announced today that it has promoted Director of Programming Peter Elia to the newly created position of Director of Technology. Concurrently, PromoSuite has promoted Operations Manager Matt Jacobson to Product Development Manager.
In his new role, Elia will oversee both the Product Development and Programming teams, tasked with the ongoing development of the PromoSuite product line, including PromoSuite Next, ListenerEmail and WebCreator. Jacobson will oversee feature development and integration with compatible products.
Elia joined PromoSuite in 2009 after an illustrious career in both the radio and technology industries. His radio experience includes Production Manager of Online Services at Clear Channel/New York. In addition, he has on-air and programming experience at numerous radio stations, including WKJY-FM/WHLI-FM/Garden City, NY, WEHM-FM/East Hampton, NY and WVAY-FM/West Dover, VT. His technology experience includes stints as a Sr. Project Manager at CinciMedia, System Architect at Lincoln Electric and Manager/System Design & Development at AIG.
"I couldn't be happier to continue creeping up the ladder here at PromoSuite," said Elia while uncannily walking the line between sincerity and sarcasm. "[PromoSuite CTO] Chris Bungo, my rock, continues to be an absolute inspiration, and [CEO] Rocco Macri should have had his face printed on some sort of currency by now. If I do my job right I suppose we will be 'printing currency' soon anyway, so look for the Macri $50 bill by end of Q4 2016."
Jacobson, a graduate of The University at Buffalo and recently a new Dad, joined PromoSuite in March, 2006. His experience includes stops in the Online, Print and Video worlds, with a specific concentration in new and emerging media. Since joining PromoSuite he has been directly involved in the day-to-day workings of the Operations department, including the oversight of its Client Relations team since 2008. As Product Development Manager, his new duties include advancing the feature set and efficiencies within PromoSuite's product line; as a new Dad, it will likely involve changing as many diapers as possible.
"Peter [Elia] and I have worked very closely on the Product Team for several years now," said Jacobson, with a glint in his eye as if remembering the good ol' days. "I'm looking forward to spending even more time with him, as we continue to improve and develop PromoSuite's systems."
